In August this year, Matt Harding competed in the World Dwarf Athletic Games in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. He raced in the 25/ 50/ 100/ and 200 free, 50 fly and relays. The Games was the largest sporting event in history held exclusively for athletes with dwarfism and attracted athletes from all over the world. Matt had a fantastic meet and not only did he become the World Dwarf Champion, he also set a new World Record for the 50 Free. This event followed on from Matt’s successful British Para International Meet in Sheffield earlier in the season where he set new personal bests made the final in the 50 fly and became the  British Champion in the 100 breast.
