While the majority of the club was In Llandudno several of senior swimmers headed to Manchester to test their skills and race against some of the best swimmers in the country. The swimmers were unrested (meaning still fatigued as this isn’t the target meet) and there were extremely positive results. Georgia Hytner swam to three new Pb’s in her breaststroker events dropping 3-second pb monster and new club record (erasing Freya Anderson) in the 100brs with a time of 1.12.08. Matthew Harding swam some great races putting up very impressive tunes just outside his pb’s, after a frustrating summer it’s awesome to see Matthew back swimming fast. Grace Gidman raced tough and put together better quality races building on the Wirral meets swims. Tori Sopp swam to 3 new best times (all beating her own club records) in 200/400IM (2.15.08/4.45.18) and 200fly (2.11.52) and achieving her English Nationals short course times in the above and the 200bk. Nathan young just missed his own British record (S15) in the 100fly (58.84) by 0.3secs. This was a really positive swim and 5 seconds quicker than Wirral Meet three weeks earlier. Fantastic swims At Llandudno and Manchester. Keep kicking strong, Martin
